2010 FIFA World Cup™ visitors should be sure to include world-favourite destination, Cape Town, on their itinerary, especially if this is their once-in-a-lifetime trip to South Africa. So says Cape Town Tourism, but they aren’t the only ones saying it…

TripAdvisor is the world’s largest travel review site and a trusted source of independent, usergenerated travel information in the global tourism industry.

In the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards for 2010 Cape Town has been named:

• Twenty Fifth in the 25 Best Destinations in the World
• First in the Top 25 Destinations in Africa category
• Sixth in the Top 25 Destinations in the World chosen by Europeans
• Sixth in the Top 10 Beach & Sun Destinations in Africa
• Second in the Top 10 Culture & Sightseeing Destinations in Africa
•  Fourth in the Top 10 Outdoor & Adventure Destinations in Africa; and last but not least
• Second in the Top 10 Food & Wine Destinations in the World
